Free places Los Angeles

I went to LA for about two weeks. I spent most of the time hanging out with my boyfriend at his apartment. I did manage to find some free thing to go do when he was at work. I ended up taking my friend hannah with me on this adventure. We started off the adventure with the Walk of Fame. Which was a lot longer then I thought it was. I ended up parking like ten minutes down the road. In a parking garage that was only like $10. The Walk of Fame is on both sides of the road. Several of the stars have a double stars.

The one thing of advise I can give is bring water with you. Especially if it is hot outside. Which the likelihood of it being hot is very high cause it is LA. There are several places to eat down there but there kinda expensive. We ended up finding a Vegan type restaurant. It also had non vegan things as well. I think it was called sweetgreens. It was a good price. It also had some really good food! Our next stop was the abandon zoo in griffith park.  The only thing I wish was that there were more exhibits. The key though is to have shoes you are ready to climb in and out of things. We ended up going into one of the animal holding areas. It was hard to tell if this is where the animals were held to be looked out or what. There were several cages attached to each other with several openings,

These areas as you can tell have been graffitied. It changes this area to a magical thing of art. You do have to crawl threw some small holes to get inside to cages. Again wear good shoes and clothes. there was about 4 more exhibits to the zoo. There was a line of cages that held different animals in them. Some had been graffitied and some weren't.

There is a trail that is lined up next to the zoo. Which we thought was a part of the zoo and it wasn't. it was a longer trail then we thought. But when we got to an area there was a wonderful view of the city. The sad thing was seeing the amount of smog  in the air. This would be a really cool area to check out at night. Again bring water with you if you are going to take an adventure there.

The next location was Griffith observatory. Which is also free. The parking for it is not free. Its only like $4 and there is parking at the top of the hill. When driving up there you will see a lot of people parking on the side of the road and then walking up the hill. There is a parking lot at the top. Worth driving up to the top. There is a great view of the Hollywood sign. The observatory is a beautiful building. There is a mini meausem inside that tells you the history of the building. If you want to look through the telescope it is open from sunset to 10pm. Although they cut off the line at 9:30. So make sure you get there in time to see it.

The last place I went that was free was Santa Monica beach. There is a per there. I was also a good place to watch the sunset. There was also a lot of people slack lining. The water wasn't to cold. The sunset provided a lot of beautiful colors over the ocean. It did get a little chilly on the beach once the sun went down. So bring a jacket with you if you get cold easily.
